Purpose
Beginning in December 2004, The Mustard Seed has provided a source of hope
for individuals and families in our home community. Those suffering from a
seemingly hopeless situation, involving substance abuse, addiction, or mental
health issues, have embarked on a new life journey beginning with graduation
from our program.

The purpose of the Mustard Seed Counseling Services program is to support
adults and youth with substance abuse and mental health issues, to aid in
their spiritual, mental, and emotional healing, and to assist and educate their
families and communities about the disease of addiction. The Mustard Seed
program provides services designed to enhance the adult and youth client's
ability to remain in the family system and community in the least restrictive
environment.
The Mustard Seed is non-denominational and is supportive of the healing of
individuals, families, and communities done by the Christian Church at large
through the power of our Lord. This mission’s ultimate goal is to aid in
pointing individuals to the only true Healer Jesus Christ.
The Mustard Seed Counseling program is staffed by state certified and state
licensed counselors who will strive to provide the best possible clinical care to
the individuals and families who are served. To aid in this, only nationally or
state recognized diagnostic and assessment tools are used, and clients are
referred only to programs that can best meet their needs. To aid in this
referral process the clinicians of the Mustard Seed will maintain supportive
relationships with other faith based recovery programs that offer sound
clinical care.
